You are invited to participate in a study about the social media and ‘real life' experiences of residents who live in high-rise apartments. In particular we want to hear about your experiences as a resident of a high-rise apartment and member of its social media community. We want to find out how you connect to people in your apartment complex and immediate neighbourhood and the role social media plays in facilitating that connection. As a current resident of an apartment with an active social media group, your opinions and experiences are vital to this project. We would also like to hear your experiences if you are not part of one of these groups, and how you otherwise connect with people in your apartment complex.
Participation in this study is entirely voluntary and will involve completing this survey which will take approximately 15 minutes. You may stop completing the survey at anytime without consequences. At the end of the survey is an invitation to participate in a short interview by telephone, Zoom or similar. Interview participants will each receive a $20 Coles/Myer giftcard as thanks for their contribution. Tick 'yes' in that section if you would be willing to participate in this next phase of the research.
