As a Sydney-based teacher you are invited to participate in the research project “Parent-School Communication in Linguistically Diverse Schools”. The online survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. The questions focus on occasions when you have had a student translate for their parents in school.
The survey is anonymous and no personal information will be retained with your survey responses.
Any information or personal details gathered in the course of the study are confidential, except as required by law. No individual will be identified in any publication of the results.
Participation in this study is entirely voluntary: you are not obliged to participate and if you decide to participate, you are free to withdraw at any time during the survey without having to give a reason and without consequence
Research data will be stored on servers provided by the University of Hamburg (Germany). The research project is part of a joint PhD project between Macquarie University and the University of Hamburg.
