Media, Identity and Belonging

Information Statment:

This survey is part of a study exploring school’s communication with parents and carers (including grandparents) from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

The research focuses on how parents use online and offline communication to engage with others and help locate knowledge as their children enter into and experience life in school.

Your input will be used to develop strategies to help make the school experience more rewarding for parents/ carers as well as children, and to improve communications between schools and families and enhance cultural inclusion.

This survey is the first stage of the research. The second stage of the study involves interviewing parents and carers in Sydney.

If you are interested in taking part in an interview about your experiences, please leave your details at the end of the survey or contact Lauren Gorfinkel: lauren.gorfinkel@mq.edu.au
