Welcome to our survey exploring the experiences of researchers who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, particularly regarding applying for mainstream grant opportunities.

Please note:

To participate in this survey, you must be 18 years or older, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander woman and be working in a higher education role that requires you to be research active.

If you do not meet this criteria but feel you still have something to contribute that we should be made aware of, we welcome you to contact Dr Terri Farrelly at terri.farrelly@mq.edu.au to discuss further.

This survey will take approximately 15 minutes of your time, and you will be asked questions related to your experience of applying for national competitive grants such as from the ARC or NHMRC, industry grants, or internal grants at your institution. We are interested to hear about both successful and unsuccessful applications. Participation is voluntary, and you can exit at any point.

Please note: If you would prefer to answer these questions in a zoom or in-person interview (if location allows) please contact Dr Terri Farrelly at terri.farrelly@mq.edu.au or on 0421 580 730.

If you would like further information about this project, or to submit a complaint, please contact any of the researchers listed above, or contact the Ethics Committee Director on +61(0)2 9850 7854 or ethics@mq.edu.au
